To help organize a show floor, organizers use Floor Mapping software to layout map aisles, booths, and points of entry/exit. This tool helps facilitate the booth sales process for planners, allows exhibitors to reserve booth space, gives attendees a map of the tradeshow floor, and provides general service contractors with the details they need to setup the show floor. Some floor mapping tools are available online. Floor Mapping is not only used by events that have a tradeshow component, but can also be used to plan area arrangements for banquets, conferences, and other meeting events.
